I often enjoy working with recycled materials giving new life, purpose and beauty to things others would rather send to the landfill.

The Table Series
- The Tree Table constructed from a slice of an oak tree mounted on a steel base
- The Floor Table constructed from floor tiles from an old AT&T Central Office mounted on a cast iron base salvaged from a junk yard
Iron Casting
- Twisted and Ironglass were made during the IAC Iron Casting Symposium, October 2008. Check out the video of the casting on the Events page.
- Ironglass is a piece of glass cast into the iron.
- Twisted is currently on display at the Indianapolis Art Center and Ironglass is on display at the headquarters of the Referral Institute
Roundpeg Series – Inspired by my wife’s company Roundpeg
- Roundpeg-Square Hole is an early work in polished steel mounted on a felt background
- Roundpeg One is also constructed of steel mounted to a stone base
The Artist’s Window is an award winning piece
-Shell of its Former Self started life as a sphere, and is my best example of letting the artistic process lead
-The Rust Collection
- The Box is an experimental piece made from salvaged industrial scrap metal
- Mr. Lowe is a tribute to one of my first mentors, Truman Lowe, who always approached life with a smile on his face. Constructed of scrap steel and allowed to rust naturally
- The triangle is my first piece made in my first welding class
Juxtaposition
- These pieces represent the juxtapositions of ideas, thoughts, politics, religion; as with many of these concepts, they are identical except for one small element.
