Todd, Matt and I are hard at work building the shell of our 8 foot Kaleidoscope. The exterior is constructed of steel barrels which originally contained maple syrup and vanilla marshmallow extract. May, 2009 The opening reception and award ceremony for the Rising Sun 3rd Annual Juried Art Show will be held on May 1 from 6-9p at the Pendleton Art Center, 201 Main Street, Rising Sun, Indiana. One hundred and fifteen entries from the tri-state area were received. The submissions were then juried for entry into the show. Sixty eight 2-dimensional works and ten 3-dimensional works, including my piece, Ironglass, were accepted and will be displayed at the Rising Sun Pendleton Art Center during the month of May.
